Morning Journey Through the Word
Morning Journey Through the Word will begin a new study on Wednesday, January 17th from 9:15 to 11:15 am.
Our topic is I & II Samuel.
The events of I & II Samuel take place in Israel between the years of 1105 and 971 B.C. During this period, Israel was transformed from a loosely knit group of tribes under the judges to a united nation reign of a king. Samuel was the last of the judges and a prophet of God. At God's leading, he anointed the first two kings of Israel, the last being King David, who was a man of God's own heart. We will read stories of victory and defeat, repentance and restoration as we follow the lives of the three main characters - Samuel, Saul and David.
Child care for Preschool and nursery aged children will be available.

Evening Journey Through the Word
Evening Journey Through The Word (JTTW) 2017-2018
We are looking forward to our time together this year as we journey through God’s Word! This year for the evening JTTW, we will be going through the personal letters that the Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy and Titus (and Philemon) in preparing them for ministry. These letters contain the “essentials of the faith” to equip followers of Jesus to become disciples who know the faith and can teach others as well and contribute to the building up of the local congregation. These are what I call “Letters for Christian Leadership.” N.T. Wright, the author of our study guide aptly calls them “the Teacher’s Manual.” My prayer is that all of the members of our congregation would continue growing in their faith and also be equipped in sharing the faith. The format is to meet for a time of teaching and worship and then to break into your small group for continued study, discussion, and prayer.
