Dear Congregational Family,

1. Home! It is so good to be back after vacation! Thank you for your prayers for us while we were away and for safe travels. We had a wonderful time in MI visiting Jen’s father. Jen and I loved the quiet of the morning sunrises together each day! (see picture below) It was good to be refreshed before the fall ministry season begins.

Today, I am working my way through many emails and messages. Please know I am not ignoring yours! If you don’t hear from me soon, don’t hesitate to remind me or contact me again on the matter, in case I lost sight of it. I will not be offended in the least!

2. Praise in the Park: This Saturday is “Praise in the Park!” Our praise and worship team will be joined by a couple other musicians to provide this concert of Christian praise to God. Come and enjoy wonderful music and fellowship (plenty of room for social distancing)! It will be held at the Ruthfred Ballfield (not at Peterswood Park as formerly scheduled). Bring a friend! Feel free to come and go at any time as you are able.
4:30pm – Food vendors open
5:00 pm – Bible lesson
5:30 pm – Concert begins.

3. College Students: Please be in prayer for our college students who are heading to college. Many are going this week. Pray that they would connect with other Christians and Christian organizations on campus to help them grow in their faith and to be a spiritual light to others as well.

4. Sermon: Title: “Rock Solid Christians in a fragmented world.” Text: Isaiah 51:1-16

God bless you as we continue,

“Growing Together in our Faith as the Family of God”
