Dear Congregational Family,

1. VBS: Vacation Bible School is off to a great start! We just completed the second day. God has wonderfully blessed us with an incredible team of volunteers and fill a church full of kids! It is a joy to see so many loving and serving the children and bringing them to the feet of Jesus. It is an extra blessing to see so many of our high school and college students participate in leadership roles as well. The Spirit of the Lord is present and God is at work! Continue to pray for this ministry throughout the week.
I have the continued privilege of teaching our 7th & 8th graders. Today we went to the Syrian Catholic Maronite Church and learned about our brothers and sisters in Christ from Syria and Lebanon.
(See pictures below of: VBS staff meeting, VBS opening songs and skits, 7th & 8th grades on tour)

2. Ragman: Many of you have been asking for the name and author of the Ragman story that I used in a recent sermon. Here it is: “Ragman: And Other Cries of Faith” by Walter Wangerin, Jr. He is an excellent writer who loves the grace of God!

3. Sermon text: This Sunday, as we continue preaching through Colossians, the sermon title & text is: “Rooted and Established” Colossians 2:6-19

God bless you as we continue,

“Growing Together in our Faith as the Family of God”
