Dear Congregational Family,

1. Family Fall Festival: Last Saturday, we held our annual Family Fall Festival at the Cox Farm! Thankfully the rain stopped and the sun even came out. It was a wonderful time of fellowship for our church family! Thank you so much to the Cox family for hosting and for the food and hayrides! Thanks also to our Worship Team for the music, as well as to Regan and our youth for all the games! Pictured below is one of the hayrides.

2. Winter Coats: Thank you to everyone who donated winter clothing, to Carol Ward for directing this, and to Chris Stout for delivering the clothing to the Salvation Army. This was a perfect way to put the book of James into practice, as we are instructed not just to tell those in need to be “warmed and filled,” but we are to clothe and feed them in the name of Jesus! The picture below is from the delivery.

3. Worship Services: It has been good to see a few more returning faces this fall! Please think of those who you have not seen and invite them to join you again in worship on Sunday.

4. Prayer: Please be in prayer for our church as we are seeking both a parish assistant and also a financial manager. The search committees are doing excellent work! Pray for God’s provision of these individuals.

5. XYZ: Next Friday, October 29th, is XYZ. This is a wonderful time of excellent food, fun, and fellowship! Please RSVP with Sally or sign up at the church by October 26th. The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board outside the Library.

6. Sermon: Sermon Title: “I Once Was Blind, But Now I See!”
Sermon Text: Mark 10:46-52
