Adult Bible classes are held year round on Sundays from 9:45-10:40 a.m.. We study a wide variety of topics and Bible books. These studies take place in the large classroom behind our sanctuary, and on our top floor in the “Upper Room.” Topics covered are highlighted each week in the announcements section of our bulletin.
Growing in Faith Together meets on the 4th Sunday of the month at 6:30 p.m., providing an opportunity for Bible Study, prayer and fellowship for those in the “middle” age bracket. Group members select the study material and take turns leading and hosting the group. Insights are shared in a friendly atmosphere with no expectations regarding prior study preparation. Other activities have included picnics and a get-together with other Ruthfred’s other small groups.
Our Women’s Ministry meets the second week of each month for Bible study and fellowship at various times of the day in groups called “Circles”, one with a babysitter available. All women of the church are invited to attend the “Circle” that best suits her schedule. For a list of when these groups meet check the calendar.
Other Small Groups
Parents of young children as well as young adult couples and singles also comprise small groups which meet at homes and have Bible or book studies. If you are interested in hosting, or getting plugged in to one of these groups please contact one of the pastors.
